3. Legal Bases
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we Process Personal Data as necessary:
- to perform a contract or take steps requested before entering into a contract;
- for our legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Service;
- to comply with legal obligations; or
- based on consent, where consent is required.
Where Processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting Processing that occurred before withdrawal.
4. Studios and Client Data
Studios use GetClass to manage their own Clients and business operations.
Where a Studio determines the purposes and means of Processing Client Personal Data and GetClass Processes that data on the Studio's instructions, the Studio acts as Controller and GetClass acts as Processor.
In those circumstances, the Studio is primarily responsible for its own privacy practices and legal basis for Processing Client Personal Data. GetClass Processes such data in accordance with the applicable Data Processing Agreement.
GetClass may separately act as a Controller for Personal Data used for its own purposes, including account administration, security, fraud prevention, billing, Service communications, and legal compliance.
If you are a Client of a Studio and have questions about how that Studio uses your Personal Data, you may need to contact the Studio directly.
5. Service Providers
We may share Personal Data with third-party providers that help us operate the Service, including providers of:
- hosting and infrastructure;
- databases and authentication;
- transactional email;
- payment and billing services;
- analytics;
- customer support;
- security and monitoring; and
- other technical services.
Where GetClass acts as a Processor for a Studio, relevant providers that Process Customer Personal Data on our behalf are listed on our Subprocessors page.
We may also disclose Personal Data where required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.
We do not sell Personal Data in the ordinary meaning of selling information for money.
6. Analytics
We may use analytics services to understand how the Service is used and to help improve the Service. These services may process technical and usage information relating to visits, page views, performance, and interactions with the Service.
7. International Data Transfers
GetClass and its service providers may Process Personal Data in countries other than the country where you are located.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer of Personal Data, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism.

We retain Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining appropriate business and security records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, how the Service is used, and applicable legal requirements.
Customer Personal Data Processed on behalf of a Studio is also subject to the applicable Data Processing Agreement and the Studio's instructions.
Data may remain in backups until removed through normal backup retention cycles.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data and relevant risks.
No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your Personal Data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where applicable.
To exercise rights relating to Personal Data for which GetClass acts as Controller, contact [email protected].
